We wrote a lot at Raw Charge yesterday.
Loserpoints noticed that JT Brown does really well moving the puck through the neutral zone, and got excited about the data he uncovered to back up his ideas. Hear me out: J.T. Brown should get a chance on the third line. "In 13-14, Brown was one of the best players on the Lightning at getting the puck out of the defensive zone and doing so with possession. He was also one of the stronger players at gaining the offensive zone although he did so less often with possession than other players on the team. In 16-17 he not the strongest on the team in zone exits and also saw a big drop on zone entries from his place in 13-14." [Raw Charge]
In honor of the uniforms worn by the first team:

And JustinG is back with his always cool column, Raw Charge thinks about thoughts. Today, he discusses Friedman's comment about the power of the Bolts four-forward lineup on the powerplay. [Raw Charge]
Why did Slater Koekkoek do so well in the last game? Mommom Koekkoek. "Once Karen called Slater's first goal, Brian quickly quipped that she should say it again. Slater ended up scoring twice in a 5-4 win over the defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins, a potential breakthrough performance in a make-or-break season for the 2012 first-round draft pick." Fantasy mailbag: Value of rookies, Shipachyov dilemma. "My top waiver wire pick for the week, as discussed in our Monday piece and my NHL Network segment, is Vladislav Namestnikov of the Tampa Bay Lightning." [NHL.com]
