For the Syracuse Crunch, the first month and a half of the season was almost exactly what we expected. Syracuse came into October with a plethora of fresh young faces that struggled to adjust to the pro game out of the gates. We always knew the talent was there and that they would eventually figure it out and put together some good hockey games late in the season. What we didn’t expect was to be eating our words by mid-November.

Head coach Ben Groulx’s young team hasn’t lost a game since November 19th, a stretch where they have compiled an impressive nine-game winning streak. They have beat up on some of the best teams in the entire Eastern Conference along the way and don’t seem to be slowing down. How did we get to this point? Who has stepped up?

Hosts Brandon Curtis and Alex Ackerman are back with some answers.
