Tampa Bay Lightning will begin the 2017 Development Camp on June 27

The Tampa Bay Lightning franchise’s top prospects will be on display this Tuesday, June 27 as the team hosts the 2017 Development Camp. The camp will take place at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum and will continue throughout the week. The Development Camp is open to the public and will showcase the skills and talents of the Bolts top youth players.

Prospects include the 2017 NHL Draft class, as well as a few invitees.

First round, 14th-overall pick Cal Foote will be in attendance, as well as recent trade acquisition Mikhael Sergachev. Other notable players include Anthony Cirelli, Brett Howden, and Taylor Raddysh, to name a few.

Expect to see a few familiar faces from the pipeline, as well as former Crunch player Joey Mormina, who will be coaching throughout the camp’s duration.

Below is the tentative schedule for the week, including the always-entertaining 3-on-3 tournament that will end the week’s festivities. Other activities include the player’s practices, on and off ice workouts, and the usual skating and shooting drills.
