The Tampa Bay Lightning has announced its 2017-18 preseason schedule. The team will play seven preseason games, with four at home and three on the road. The games will be home-and-home, with the Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, and Florida Panthers visiting and hosting the Bolts.
The seventh game is a makeup game against the Panthers that had been postponed from October 6, 2016, due to Hurricane Matthew. Times and ticket purchase will be announced at a later date.
Other teams around the league have begun announcing their preseason schedules as well. The Detroit Red Wings are sticking with their Northern friends, with Detroit playing against the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Two of the teams Tampa is battling are not in our division, and we don’t really have rivalries of note against the Predators or the Hurricanes. Those interstate games against Florida should be interesting, though...
