NOTE: J.T. Brown was claimed Sunday afternoon by the Anaheim Ducks. The podcast was recorded Saturday immediately following the announcement that Brown was placed on waivers (we also failed to mention that he was going to be assigned to Syracuse—if he cleared waivers—until the latter part of the podcast since we both did not see the tweet detailing that particular piece of information).

Also, I stated during the goaltending part that Carey Price was around 6’1’’. He is actually 6’3’’. I didn’t have his page up as we were talking (I had Vasilevskiy’s up).

On this episode, Raw Charge’s Quick Strikes guru (and overall badass) Hardev Lad joins me to discuss J.T. Brown being placed on waivers, the injury to Victor Hedman, and the depth that Steve Yzerman has at the defensive position. With some side rants about Jonathan Marchessault, Andrei Vasilevskiy’s workload, and positions that Yzerman could look at bolstering as the trade deadline nears.
