The Toronto Marlies scored early and often en route to defeating the Syracuse Crunch 7-1 on Sunday night. The loss puts the Crunch on the brink of elimination as they trail three games to zero in the best of seven series.
Trevor Moore paced the Marlies with two goals, both in the third period. Five other Marlies added goals as Toronto scored twice in the first, twice in the second and three times in the third. Erik Cernak had the lone Syracuse goal.
Connor Ingram, who was brilliant in Game Two suffered the loss allowing all seven goals on 30 shots.
The teams meet again on Tiesday for Game 4 in Syracuse.
