21 skaters will take part in the pre-game warmups tonight at Amalie Arena for the Tampa Bay defenseman Mark Barberio. Does this mean the Lightning will use an 11-7 roster split again, or is Barberio going to be considered over Nikita Nesterov or another member of the Lightning’s regular defenseive scheme?
If Barberio does in fact play, it will be his 2015 NHL playoffs debut. To say he’s rested isn’t a stretch of the phrase in the least bit.
