Newsday has an interesting take on the Lightning / Isles series — it’s so damn NICE between the two teams. Oh, of course there is still some bullshit going on between the Lightning and the Isles – Isles equipment manager and Lightning equipment managers were at war yesterday and Mike Milbury and John Tortorella met to say enough was enough. All of this brought on by the “infamous” hotel incident.
But come on, this series has been well played by the Isles and I think they should know they have the Lightning’s respect from not only being outplayed more times than not during the series but being outplayed more times than not during the season as well when facing off against the Isles.
