It was shortly after the morning skate concluded that a press release went out to announced the recall of left wing Jonathan Marchessault from the Syracuse Crunch. Marchessault has served as the insurance call-up more times than not when questions are raised about the lineup in Tampa with the forward corps.
In this case, it appears the insurance is necessary to cover for Jonathan drouin:

Marchessault has ben recalled a few times by the Lightning but has only appeared in one game with the Bolts, wway back in October. He’s played 64 games with the Syracuse Crunch, scoring 23 goals with 41 assists. Seeing he’s been insurance on most recalls, there is no guarantee that Drouin is out of the lineup and that Marchessault will play.
On the other hand, this being the last game of the season, there’s no reason to make sure Drouin gets into the lineup tonight… Well, besides wanting to beat the Bruins. That should be attainable without hte rookie.
