Just as inconsistent as the netminders
Just a matter of days ago, the Tampa Tribune was beating the war drum in honor of Sean Burke. Burke Stating his Case or the pro-Burke follow up that led me to decry the end of John Grahame's days in Tampa Bay.
Now we have a flip-flop.
Grahame improved to 5-1 this season against Carolina by turning aside 25 shots in Tampa Bay's 3-2 overtime victory."If Burke had stood on his head [Friday], maybe he would've gotten this game," Tortorella said. "I'm not so sure he would've, but maybe I would've thought differently. But we need both of our goalies, and I thought Johnnie came up very big, as Burke did in a couple of games last week."
The only thing to take from this though is that the Lightning don't have a #1 and that Burke's being talked about as a #1 was premature -- or unfounded, take your pick.
