Lightning announces 2016-2017 preseason schedule
Bolts will play against the Hurricanes, Panthers, and Predators for six sunbelt bouts.
The Tampa Bay Lightning has announced its preseason schedule. Starting at the end of September, Bolts will be playing six games against their usual preseason crew -- the Carolina Hurricanes, the Florida Panthers, and the Nashville Predators.
The team will play three games at home and three in the visiting team arena. Unlike last season, they were not tapped to play the exhibition game for Kraft Hockeyville in Marquette, Michigan -- the honor of that game goes to the Canes and the Sabres this year. Bolts will open the preseason schedule with two games at home, head on the road for three in a row, and end with another game at home on October 8th.
