Word had come down earlier today that Desjardins and Helenius had been put on waivers. Teams have until tomorrow to claim waived players and they must then keep them on their NHL roster or give Tampa Bay a chance to reclaim them before they can be sent to another league.
Adam Erne was reassigned to the Quebec Remparts yesterday.
