Last year after the first round, we heard from Andrei Vasilevskiy that he was playing injured during his season and he played more games than he should’ve. This season, the aim is to manage his load on the ice and his health overall. That might still mean 65 games, but having days off incorporated.

The team on the whole is carrying the same message they left last season with. They want to make the most of the long summer and put everything back together for a long run at another Cup.
