Brad Lukowich has joined the New York Islanders… He fills a void on a defense that has lost Adrian Aucoin and is likely (how likely?) to lose Roman Hamrlik as well.
So, of the Stanley Cup defensive squad, we’ve lost two of the top four in Cullimore and Lukowich. Does Sarich paired with Boyle make up for the loss and give the Lightning two solid pairings and a third pairing still to be determined? Does Pratt move up with Boyle? Or do the Lightning chase a more prominent free agent defensiveman (and I am not the only one wanting him)?
