- On Tuesday, Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop was the subject of "Five Questions With...," a regular segment on NHL.com. Bishop has been working hard throughout the summer to rehabilitate his injured shoulder and wrist and should be ready for training camp, a huge relief for Lightning fans. [NHL]
- Ahh, the NHL-to-Seattle saga continues. Walter McLaughlin of The Hockey Writers wrote a feature on Victor Coleman, who has been called "the real deal" by NHL executives. [The Hockey Writers]
- Hockey has been rapidly expanding in Europe for the past several years. Five years after the Champions Hockey League went defunct due to the failing economy, the league has made a return, with 44 teams from 12 European countries competing. [The Hockey Writers]
