Quick strikes and open thread for Monday, October 22nd, 2012

The financial divide between teh NHL and NHLPA is narrowing, but the hyperbole is ratcheting up. Marty does not want to fade away, Roloson goes back to school, Luongo rumors, and Caps fans don't quite feel like shopping right now.

Regular readers will notice the change to the post title. You already know a "Quick Strikes" post will contain links. This is also a dump all thread, where comments are encouraged.

Well, that's always been the intention with link posts - you don't always have to focus on the links themselves - to encourage banter. I'm just repeating the fact here.
