Quick Strikes: Tide rolled, no more black thirds

No black third jerseys next season

Apparently there are no more third jerseys next season when the official uniform maker changes from Reebok to Adidas. I never thought the thirds were all that great, but they did make it easier when the team played against other predominately blue jerseys, like the Maple Leafs. (But not the LA Kings.)

What do you think? Bad idea to do away with thirds? Good idea because maybe they’ll be different when they come back in a season or two?
