Last weekend, on NHL Network’s Top 20 Wingers Right Now show, Nikita Kucherov came in at 2nd in the NHL. It was a well-deserved ranking, especially after his showing last season.
Tonight, Steven Stamkos will be featured on the Top 20 Centers Right Now show airing at 7 PM Eastern on NHL Network. Last season, Stamkos ranked 11th. Considering how many great centers there are on the league, Stamkos really has to stand out with elite scoring and be in the Rocket Richard race to be considered up near the top.
Unfortunately, his knee surgery last fall is likely to drop him down the list. But let’s see if I can take a stab at the Top 20 Centers in the NHL Right Now!
