Syracuse Crunch at Worcester Sharks AHL game thread

After splitting the first two games this weekend, the Crunch visit the Sharks to see if they can keep their road winning streak alive.

Team: Syracuse Crunch (11-3-1-1), AHL affiliate for the Tampa Bay Lightning
Opponent: Worcester Sharks (9-6-1-1), AHL affiliate for the San Jose Sharks
Where: DCU Center, Worcester, Massachusetts
When: 3 pm ET

The Syracuse Crunch beat the Albany Devils 4-1 last night in Albany. In doing so, they've extended their road winning -streak to eight games. They go into Worcester today to see if they can add to that oh-so-modest streak.

In last night's game, the goal scorers for the Crunch were Cory Conacher, Tyler Johnson, Alex Killorn, and Richard Panik. Despite Syracuse giving up six penalties to Albany's four, they gave up fewer power plays - three power plays for the Devils to five for the Crunch. However, no one from either team scored a power play goal. Syracuse out-shot Albany 25-19, with Riku Helenius in net.

With last night's win, the Crunch are now sitting atop the Eastern Conference standings.
