One of the most anticipated series of the season for the Tampa Bay Lightning is against the New York Rangers. It's Ryan Callahan, Anton Stralman and Brian Boyle facing off against their old team... Oh, and some guy named Martin Saint Lewist playing against the Lightning as an opponent for the first time since having a requested trade for filled on March 5th, 2014.
Of course, a game in New York City gives Syracuse Crunch fans an opportunity to go down-state to the City to see former Crunch alumni who are currently mainstays in the Lightning lineup... And it just so happens that the Crunch have partnered with Amtrak® to provide an opportunity for Crunch fans to win tickets to Madison Square Garden to see the Bolts and the Rangers go at it on December 1st.
The winning fans will receive two tickets to the game, two round trip tickets from Syracuse to New York City via Amtrak Empire Service, a hotel room and Crunch merchandise. Fans will get to cheer on Crunch veterans like Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat, Brett Connolly and Vladislav Namestnikov. The Lightning's current roster includes 11 Syracuse Crunch alumni.
Fans can enter by filling out a form at the Crunch's Guest Services table during home games or online at the Crunch's official website. Click here to enter. The contest will run through November 18. Must be 18 years of age or older.
I can't say this is open to Tampa based fans. But this is an opportunity for central New York based Ranger fans as well.
Good luck to those who enter.
