There is a storm a-foot in movement around the National Hockey League at the moment, and while a grander story of a meeting between Stefven Stamkos and the Toronto Maple Leafs played out earlier today. This has not been a confirmed story and no press release has been sent out from the Lightning but fodder for the moment (to go along with the Taylor Hall trade and P.K. Subban rumors) is -- we get to See Stamkos a bit longer.

There's missing context here of where this was said, but it should not be a surprise that McKenzie is in the dark with Drouin suitors and what GM Steve Yzerman favors.
I do recommend following Today's Slapshot's Chris Nichols on Twitter. While he pulls quotes off radio and from elsewhere form prominent media names, it isn't always clear where they were speaking at the time.
