In another confrontation among the top of the Atlantic Division, the Tampa Bay Lightning (43-21-7) faces the Detroit Red Wings (38-20-11) at Amalie Arena.
The Lightning have had much of the week to rest and regroup and heal since their victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Monday Night. On the other hand, the Red Wings will be playing the flip-side of their second consecutive back-to-back series tonight; the Wings played the Flyers and Penguins last weekend and then ventured to Florida to take on the Panthers and Lightning. They lost tin Sunrise last night.
