Tampa Bay Lightning announce game 4 watch party

Got any plans for tonight?

It’s sort of last minute, the fact it was announced yesterday afternoon (when it could have and should have been announced days ago) but it still is a relevant opportunity to socialize with other Lightning fans during a road playoff game.. And who knows, it may be the last time until the NHL entry draft, sadly (no pressure there, Lightning players…)

Here’s the press release from the team, Bold text added by me:

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning and Bud Light will host a Stanley Cup Playoffs installment of ‘Lightning Watch Parties’ for their Game 4 matchup at Bell Centre against the Montreal Canadiens at Brickhouse, located at 1102 North Dale Mabry Highway, on Tuesday, April 22 beginning at 6 p.m. and going until the conclusion of the game.

In addition to the excitement of Lightning hockey, fans will also have the opportunity to win autographed memorabilia, as well as participate in meet-and-greets with ThunderBug, the Lightning Girls and more. Former Lightning all-star Brian Bradley will be in attendance for fans to meet and get autographs from. The Lightning’s Greg Wolf will be hosting the event.

Lightning Radio will broadcast their live pre and post-game radio shows from Brickhouse. Lightning broadcasters Matt Sammon and former Bolt Jassen Cullimore will be the hosts, heard locally on AM 970-WFLA.

Rolling Thunder, the Lightning’s mobile fan truck, will be present at the watch party, equipped with interactive games and prizes for all patrons in attendance. There will also be on-site contests in which fans may enter to win Lightning playoff merchandise.

Seeing if the Bolts can avoid the sweep with company may just make it that much sweeter if it happens.
