Tampa Bay Lightning announce jobs fair at Tampa Bay Times Forum

A number of part-time positions must be filled before the start of the NHL season.

With the NHL and NHL Players Association's labor squabble finally resolved, with ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement expected to be done over the next few days (and an outright resumption of the league), the wheels are turning again with each franchises as they prepare for the new (albeit abbreviated) season.

With a new season of any length comes the need for different logistical employees at venues hosting the NHL. The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Times Forum are no exception. In the coming days, the Bolts will hold a Job Fair for part time positions at Times Palace. The full press release from the club is below:

LIGHTNING, TAMPA BAY TIMES FORUM TO HOST PART-TIME JOB FAIR


TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Times Forum will hold a part-time job fair on Thursday, January 10 from 5-9 p.m. on the Promenade Level of the arena. The fair is being held to fill positions for the upcoming Lightning hockey season as well as other Times Forum events.

The Lightning and Times Forum will be hiring for a number of positions, including guest services, security, arena conversion, housekeeping, ticket office, concessions and retail to name a few. Those interested in applying must first log on to www.tampabaylightning.com to complete an application. Each applicant will then be informed of their meeting time based on their interests and department manager availability.

Those coming for interviews should park in the Forum West Lot (see attached parking map). Applicants should enter through the Premium Entrance next to the McDonald's Ticket Office and take the elevator to the third floor to the check-in table.
