We’re not sure about you, but it’s been an interesting couple of days for the Savannah-based headquarters of Raw Charge. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to call off of work because the bridges were iced over.

Julien BriseBois continues to count the pennies as Max Crozier is re-assigned to Syracuse during the Lightning’s two-day break. While they are hoping Erik Cernak is ready to play at some point soon, expect Crozier to be recalled tomorrow as the Bolts kick off another back-to-back set.

Trade season is officially under way as the Anaheim Ducks sent Pavol Regenda to the San Jose Sharks for Justin Bailey. Okay, maybe it’s just an AHL trade, but it’s something. Bailey does have 141 NHL games under his belt, mostly with Buffalo. Regenda, who was a European free agent signee by the Ducks in 2022, does have 19 games at the NHL level.
Kings to host a celebrity and alumni charity game [LA Kings]
As part of the ongoing recovery process in the Los Angeles area, the Kings announced that they will be holding a charity hockey game featuring alumni and celebrity players on February 23rd at Crypto.com Arena. All of the available tickets will be given to first responders and people displaced by the fires. There will be a fundraising event tied with the game with the proceeds going to the LA Fire Relief Fund.
Newest QMJHL franchise to be named Newfoundland Regiment [Sportslogo.net]
The team is relocating from New Brunswick and based on trademark filings, it looks like they will be called the Newfoundland Regiment starting next season. Solid, angry-looking animal mascot.

The PWHL had their first hockey set released by Upper Deck, and it appears there is quite the demand.
