Brown could raise his fist during the national anthem as a symbol of solidarity and strength with the hope of bringing awareness to the police brutality and minority inequality that has been occuring across the United States. “Brown, one of around 30 black players in the NHL, used this silent protest during Thursday’s exhibition game in Sunrise, finding it a middle ground for those who say kneeling for the anthem disrespects the flag. Ryan Callahan is excited to get back on the ice and playing, saying right now is the best he’s felt in a long time. “There’s no hesitation. For me to be effective, I’ve got to play that way. The Prospects
