Tampa Bay Lightning prospect playoff update: The final prospects are eliminated

A short update about the QMJHL players.

The final group of Tampa Bay Lightning prospects were eliminated from their playoff series on Wednesday night. Radim Salda and Jimmy Huntington – along side the rest of the Rimouski Oceanic – were swept in the QMJHL’s Eastern Conference Final by the #1 junior team in all three of the CHL leagues, the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

There wasn’t much of a fight going on as the Huskies outscored the Oceanic 20-9 in the four games. Radim Salda scored once and Jimmy Huntington added one goal and two assists to the campaign, but no one can stop Rouny-Noranda on their quest to win their first Memorial Cup. Players still remain on the team from their overtime loss in the 2016 final vs the London Knights.
