Tampa Bay Lightning prospects report: Everyone scores, but no one more than Katchouk

It was a high-scoring week for all of the Tampa Bay Lightning prospects last week, with seven of them scoring three or more points. Samuel Walker made the move up a level to the USHL from his high school fall league, and he’ll have some catching up to do as the 2PPG player was held off the score sheet his first weekend up.

Let’s get into it.

Ontario Hockey League

#12 – Christopher Paquette (F) – 3G, 0A, -2
Peterborough Petes

Nov. 2nd: vs Sarnia Sting
L 7-5 – 0G, 0A, -1
Nov. 4th: vs Barrie Colts
W 5-4 OT – 2G, 0A, -1

Nov. 5th: @ Mississauga Steelheads
L 9-2 – 1G, 0A

Paquette had a good week, but it ended on a very sour note with the last place Steelheads beating the Petes an astonishing 9-2.

#12 – Boris Katchouk (F) – 4G, 3A, +5
Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds

Nov. 1st: vs Sudbury Wolves
W 5-4 OT – 2G, 3A, +3

Nov. 4th: vs Niagara IceDogs
W 4-1 – 1G, 0A, +1
Nov. 5th: vs North Bay Battalion
W 3-1 – 1G, 0A, +1

Katchouk was nothing to sneeze at last week as he racked up seven points in three games, the majority coming against fellow northern Ontario team the Sudbury Wolves.

#17 – Taylor Raddysh (F) – 2G, 2A, +4
Erie Otters

Nov. 1st: vs Kitchener Rangers
L 7-3 – 1G, 0A, +2
Nov. 3rd: vs Oshawa Generals
W 8-0 – 1G, 2A, +2

Nov. 4th: vs Windsor Spitfires
L 4-3 OT – No Points

Raddysh ended on a low note, but with four points in the first two games, being blanked in a close loss to the reigning Memorial Cup champions isn’t anything terrible.

#17 – Alexei Lipanov (F) – 0G, 0A, +1
Barrie Colts

Nov. 3rd: @ Ottawa 67’s
W 4-2 – 0G, 0A, +1

Nov. 3rd: vs Waterloo Black Hawks
L 3-2 OT – 0G, 0A, -2
