On Sunday, a day after wrapping up the 2018 NHL Draft, the Tampa Bay Lightning announced the full roster for this year’s Development Camp. The camp is slated to begin Tuesday afternoon in Brandon, FL.

A total of 27 players, including six members of this year’s draft class, will be taking part in the four day event.

-21 players are Lightning draft picks, including 6 of 7 picks from the 2018 draft. Out of this group, there is one first rounder, three each from the second, third, and fourth round, two fifth rounders, four sixth rounders, and five seventh rounders.
-6 players appeared in at least one game for Syracuse during the 2017-18 season.
-6 different countries are represented: United States (12), Canada (9), Russia (2), Finland (2), Czech Republic (1), and Sweden (1).
-7 players come from the college ranks.
There are also five invitees to the camp, and all are forwards:
–Peter Krieger: Krieger is a 24-year-old forward who just completed his first season with Minnesota-Duluth after transferring from Alaska-Fairbanks. The Oakdale, MN native appeared in 44 games for the NCAA champion Bulldogs, scoring 11 goals and dishing out 19 assists.
–Jackson Leppard: The 18-year-old forward finished his second full season with Prince George of the WHL, scoring 15 goals and 21 assists in 68 games for the Cougars.
–Mathew McDougall: McDougall, also 18, just completed his first full season with Windsor of the OHL. The Ontario native put up 32 points—17 goals, 15 assists—in 66 games for the Spitfires. He went scoreless in 6 playoff appearances, as Windsor would bow out in the first round of the OHL playoffs to Sarnia.
–Cole Smith: The 22-year-old Smith just completed his sophomore season at the University of North Dakota. The Minnesota native appeared in 37 games, scoring 5 goals and picking up 5 assists for the Fighting Hawks.
–Chase Wouters: Wouters, 18, just completed his second full season with Saskatoon of the WHL. The Alberta native appeared in 72 games for the Blades, scoring 18 goals and 33 assists.
Camp gets underway on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 PM with what the Lightning calls “an afternoon of service.” Per the Lightning press release:
“Foote, Ingram and Raddysh will spend time with kids at the Lightning Made Summer Camp being held at Florida Hospital Center Ice, while the remaining players will visit the Simmons Family Riverview Boys & Girls Club to play street hockey and other activities.”
The camp will wrap up on Saturday, June 30th, with the second day of a 3-on-3 tournament, which the Lightning will livestream. Prospects will compete in on-ice and off-ice workouts, along with various skating and shooting drills. All sessions are free and open to the public.
