This week’s Tampa Bay Lightning poll: who wins round 2?

Here we go again, only different this time.

Having knocked off their first round opponent, the New Jersey Devils, four games to one, the Tampa Bay Lightning move on to the semi-district conference regionals where they will take on a formidable Atlantic Division opponent.

I don’t want you to think I cheated by writing most of this (minus plugging in the poll itself) before Game 7 between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs was played Wednesday night because I had non-Raw Charge stuff to do on Thursday. That would be, well, cheating.

I can tell you that the series was very competitive and that both Boston and Toronto played very well and either or both of them deserved to win and advance, which one of them did while the other did not. When it comes down to a decisive final game, anything can happen and it certainly did! It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that the team that did win was the team that won. I think most of us would agree that the turning point in that game was when the guy did that thing and the referees either totally blew the call or got it exactly right.

Anyway, now the Lightning have to play them and it’s time for you to weigh in with what you believe with the entirety of your heart what will happen in our weekly poll which was definitely not hastily added to this article after it was written on Tuesday and the series was decided Wednesday night. Because again, that would be cheating. And if there’s one thing I’m probably not, it might be a cheater.
