VIDEO Nikita Kucherov opens scoring on a power play goal

After being shut out by the Detroit Red Wings in game 3 of the playoff series, the Lightning decided not to lay another goose egg against the Wings. Shortly after getting a power play opportunity in the 1st period, Nikita Kucherov achieved a rare feat for the Bolts: He converted, making it a 1-0 game. It was Kucherov’s 4th goal of the playoffs with assists going to Tyler Johnson (his 5) and Jonathan Drouin (2).
