Quick update on Vincent Lecavalier

The Philadelphia Flyers would like to move Vincent Lecavalier, but they won't be doing it until next week, most likely. The reason? Money. It's always about the money...

Lecavalier's agent, Kent Hughes has permission to speak to teams re: trade. Vinny gets a $2 mil bonus on July 1, so trade before is tough.

Where Lecavalier lands is up for debate, and who could use him as well. I personally think he ought to go to a young team that needs leadership - one not in the arctic circle with a habit of drafting early - like the Florida Panthers. But if Vinny wants to win, he'll have to be ready to play a bit role on the team he lands with.
