Weekend Southeast Shootout: Lightning vs. Thrashers briefs

WHERE: Phillips Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
WHEN: 5:00 PM EST
MEDIA: No Television in either market, 970 WFLA (radio), 620 WDAE (joined in progress at the conclusion of football coverage)

For the third time on this four game road trip, the Lightning will not be televised in the Tampa Bay market.  Radio coverage will be off the Lightning's flagship station in favor of NFL action... Not only will there be no local TV coverage, but there will be no TV broadcast in Atlanta either.

And the only appropriate word for this is FAIL.

Mike Lundin will participate in the pre-game skate for the Lightning and Rick Tocchet told Erik Erlendsson that Lundin "should" play. That's not assured. It'd be Lundin's first NHL game in almost a year. No word on who would be scratched but Kurtis Foster has often been the odd man out in the defensive roation.

Antero Niittymaki shoudl be between the pipes for the Bolts. He has not played in a week...

TB's lines are posted after the jump.
