Here is the official roster for your Tampa Bay Lightning roster (or at least how they submitted it to the league). There is always the chance the Bolts tweak things a little before they line-up against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, especially if J.J. Moser gets slapped with a suspension (spoiler, he did).
On Monday the Bolts sent Dylan Duke, Dominic James, Boris Katchouk, Scott Sabourin, Wojciech Stachowiak, Declan Carlile, Charle-Edouard D’Astous, and Roman Schmidt to Syracuse. Zemgus Girgensons, Nick Paul, and Niko Huuhtanen will start the season on Injured reserve.
Still, this is the line-up that Julien BriseBois and Jon Cooper have stitched together, and on the whole, it’s not too shabby. There are two lines that can score. A third line that should be a pain to play against, and a fourth line that, on paper, is better than last year’s (granted, that’s not a high bar to clear). The same exact defense is back, which should allow for some consistency. Three goaltenders is an interesting way to start, but it’s unlikely that lasts very long into the season.
