The draft is fading into the distance but events tied to it -€” or at least it’s results -€” play on as the 2015-16 contract year heads to a close. The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday afternoon its participant roster for the team’s 2016 developmental camp. Camp begins tomorrow at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum.
Starting tomorrow, June 28, and running through July 2nd, a group of 33 will participate in the 2016 Tampa Bay Lightning Development Camp. Nine of the 10 draft selections from this past weekend’s draft will be on hand, as well nine selections from the 2015 NHL entry draft as well as a slew of players from 2014 to as far back as 2012.
More players are possible, as well as less participants by way o injury or scheduling conflict, but here’s who is slated to be at Ice Sports Forum this week, from the Lightning release:
