2017 NHL All-Star Game rosters: Kucherov, Hedman to represent Lightning in Los Angeles

Forward Nikita Kucherov and defenseman Victor Hedman will represent the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 2017 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles. They will be on the Atlantic Division team for Saturday’s Skills Competition and Sunday’s All-Star Game.

Hedman and Kucherov are both All-Stars for the first time. The Lightning season as a whole notwithstanding, both are having productive seasons offensively. Despite missing a handful of games with an injury, Kucherov leads the Lightning with 19 goals and 48 points, including 16 on the power play. Hedman is right behind him in the points race with 38.

With the All-Star Game in Los Angeles, the league has had fun with the Hollywood atmosphere, complete with the hashtag #HockeyGoesHollywood, and released the following artwork.
