Callahan and Kucherov are BOTH back against the Rangers
Woohoo!
Ryan Callahan, it’s nice to see you this season!
Nikita Kucherov, wow, didn’t expect you back so soon but no one’s complaining.
Both returned to the Lightning lineup on Sunday night against the Rangers after missing some time due to injuries.
Kucherov and Callahan will both play tonight. Taormina and Brown are your scratches.

For Callahan, it’s his first game this season after undergoing hip surgery sometime in June. He was expected to be out five months, so his return is in line with the original timetable. Callahan is back against his former team as well, at Madison Square Garden no less.
Kucherov, on the other hand, went down early in Thursday’s game against the Canadiens that the Bolts lost 3-1. He played under five minutes and didn’t return to the game — and didn’t play in Saturday’s game, which the Lightning lost again 3-1. Kucherov had been listed day to day.
We knew the possibility of one of the players returning after the Lightning sent Cory Conacher back to Syracuse earlier Sunday.
Both Callahan and Kucherov returning means that JT Brown is the odd man out.
Hate to see Brown getting the pressbox duty tonight, but Point has earned his spot in the lineup. And I think this answers the questions.
