It’s been a little while since the brouhaha of expansion was flexing and overwhelming us with speculation. With NHL training amps opening and with the approaching season, there’s been more focus on the actual sport than on franchise locations.
Well, we have Commissioner Gary Bettman today speaking about league expansion and how it’s just not ready for that time yet. Take his words for what you will, but in essence he says “not now, maybe later”:
