Hey all. I know we have bigger things to worry about in Lightning land right now but I want to keep you updated on where the site is headed. As you probably know, Achariya stepped back from her Site Manager role after taking this blog to new heights over the last two years. Starting today, I’ll be the Interim Site Manager while SBNation looks for a permanent replacement.

In the meantime, I’ll be keeping us headed into the right direction. Achariya took the solid foundation built by our founder John Fontana and built upon it to go in different directions. My goal while the search for the next Site Manager continues is to keep the momentum we’ve built while making some subtle additions to our coverage this summer.
From your perspective, I hope that you’ll continue to see the consistent quality content that you’ve come to expect. I don’t anticipate any major changes. Things are running smoothly and that’s how we intend things to continue.
And with that, we’ll get back to worrying about game four of the Eastern Conference Final and how our ECHL affiliate the Adirondack Thunder are doing in their own Conference Final. Once a new Site Manager is selected, we’ll let you know and that person will introduce themselves more formally and with more plans for the future.
