The Syracuse Crunch dropped their season opener last night in Rochester against the Buffalo Sabres affiliate Americans by a score of 6-5 in a shootout. Tonight, they open up at home – new players, new coaches, and new uniforms – against the Washington Capitals farm team, the Hershey Bears. They might be mostly the same guys to those who followed the team through their Norfolk Admirals run, but for the people of Syracuse, this is their very first look at this team.
