Phillip Danault was fined $5000 for a retaliatory slash to hands on former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ross Colton, who’s now on Colorado. This was the first case fo supplemental discipline handed down by the Department of Player Safety this season.

Roster moves: the Lightning have placed Tyler Motte on IR and called up Alex Barre-Boulet to take his place. The Lightning have upwards of $10 million in cap space while Andrei Vasilevskiy is on the mend, so they have lots of space for call ups. That space will of course go away when Vasilevskiy is back and healthy.
Additionally, the Crunch sent down three players, including Jaydon Dureau who was ranked 21st in our Top 25 Under 25 this summer. Bennett MacArthur also got sent down, he was unranked by our group. I was the only one who didn’t rank Dureau.
