On Friday, the NHL released starting dates for the upcoming 2021-22 regular season. The back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions Tampa Bay Lightning will start their hunt for a potential three-peat with a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 12 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Most home games are scheduled for 7 p.m. start. Here’s a full schedule:

Sonya Bryson-Kirksey, the Lightning’s national anthem singer, was released from hospital on Friday. She spent previous 29 days at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, battling with COVID-pneumonia. In her statement on Twitter, she reached out to her followers and people who supported her during a last month and asked for a privacy while she will be recovering.

Alex Killorn brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown Beaconsfield, Quebec, where about 2000 people waited to meet him. The Lightning forward was also gifted a key to the city.
