Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Eamon Powell is going to be the top eagle at Boston College this upcoming season as he’s been named captain of their men’s hockey team. The right-shot defender (yes, we have another one of them) is in his senior year and led the defensemen in points and ice time last year. The team is also expected to take a step in performance with as many as 14 drafted players on the roster. I’ll also mention they have three Wills. Will Traeger, Will Smith, and Will Vote. 10/10, well done everyone. Now, I just gotta not make a Parks and Rec, Fresh Prince, and election joke all at once.

The Baby Bolts will begin their summer showcase tournament today at 4pm against the Nashville baby Predators. Here’s everything you need to know going in. First up, five prospects to look out for in the tournament.

The team finished up practice yesterday with some fun. Introducing the first hugs of the new season!

Jack Thompson spoke about the team coming together and the excitement heading into today.

Here is the full roster and game schedule, thanks to Future Bolts.

Mikhail Sergachev is energized to play this season and wants to shake off the first round defeat.

Nothing like shaking off a long lockout with the first goal of a new season, eh?
