“Like”, follow and win with Raw Charge

Raw Charge is committed to connecting with the Tampa Bay Lightning community–sharing coverage, insight, and thoughts about the Bolts with our fellow fans. The franchise gets a lot of coverage, but what distinguishes Raw Charge is the connection with the community. Fans drive this site. Without readers, without commentary, we’d be just another face in the crowd.

Despite our unique voice and perspective on the Lightning, we’ve still got room to grow as a community.  We want to reach a broader audience, in hopes of encouraging the conversation among Lightning fans. And we’d also love to add some more unique viewpoints and commentary.

So here’s the deal.  We want to build on our social media presence on both Facebook and Twitter. But in a twist, we’re giving away prizes for every milestone we cross over the next month.

How it works: “Like” Raw Charge on Facebook, and you will be eligible for a prize drawing that we will hold for every 100 “likes”. Each winner will receive a Tampa Bay Lightning hat, knit cap, or visor (your choice).  If we reach 1,000 “likes”, we’ll give away a Tampa Bay Lightning hooded sweatshirt.

We’re also having this contest on Twitter.  Follow @RawCharge and become eligible for a Lightning T-shirt drawing once we reach 1,000 followers.

The contest deadline is January 1^st, 2011 and applies to both Facebook and Twitter.  No purchase necessary, this contest is not open to SB Nation employees or Raw Charge contributors.  We’ll have specific legal guidelines for the contest shortly.  See the prize details below.
