Well, give the Tampa Bay Lightning credit – they’ve really simplified what they need to focus on tonight. As Al Davis would say, “Just win, baby”.
How will they win? Their best bet is to do more of what they did in the first 10 minutes of the second period in Game Three and less of what they’ve done for most of the rest of the series. Getting to the front of the net and winning puck battles will be their best path to victory.
This team believes they have better in them, but they’ve left themselves zero room for error. Who know’s maybe that’s what they need to bring their best out. We’ll find out tonight.
