The Bolts:

·         When James Wisniewski was given a tryout by the Tampa Bay Lightning, it looked as if the team’s hole at the right-handed defenseman position may have been closing up. Well, things didn’t work out during training camp; Wisniewski was part of many roster cuts and reassignments that came yesterday. [Tampa Bay Times]

·         The University of North Dakota raised its championship banner to the rafters to go along with seven others on Saturday night. UND won its eight championship in Tampa this past April. [College Hockey News]
