• The story that’s dominated the press since the conclusion of game 2 is Brandon Prust and his post-game remarks pointed at officiating on ice. Former referee Kerry Fraser remarked how Prust has painted himself a target because of it. [The National Post]
• Elliotte Friedman gives more credit to Prust’s accusations toward ref Brad Watson while also pointing out that complaining as Prust did was better done out of the spotlight and in private remarks. [Sportsnet]

• While we’ve given Lightning/Habs a good bit of attention, one of the other playoff performances worth noting is Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals series with the New York Rangers.
