Quick Strikes: Nikita Kucherov ranked 4th best fantasy player in the NHL
Kuch is behind only McDavid, Crosby, and Matthews
The Bolts
Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov was ranked the 4th best player in the NHL’s top 250 fantasy hockey player rankings. Kucherov is the top ranked winger, ahead of Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn, and Chicago Blackhawks franchise player Patrick Kane. A few days ago, the NHL projected Kucherov to score 87 points this season, good for 3rd best in the league. [NHL dot com]
Victor Hedman is the 3rd best fantasy defenseman and captain Steven Stamkos is the 11th best centerman. Here’s how the rest of the Tampa Bay Lightning stack up.

For the last day of our Six Days of Stralman series, @loserpoints analyzes Anton Stralman’s ability to absolutely shut down his opponents at the blueline. “He is not going to give you that space. I know he’s a nice-looking blonde Swedish man with wispy hair and a reserved, even gentle, personality. But my dude, if you try to skate into his space, you’re going to end up in a gif for all the wrong reasons.” [Raw Charge]
