Ryan Callahan negotiations 'productive'

Per a member of the agency that represents Tampa Bay Lightning winger Ryan Callahan:

With just days remaining until free agency officially opens on July 1, and with the interview period starting in earnest tomorrow, the Bolts are running out of time to get an extension done for Callahan before he can start fielding UFA offers from other teams.

While this latest update seems optimistic, so have the last dozen or so updates on the ongoing negotiations between Callahan's camp and the Lightning.
