Where did they go? The 2004 Stanley Cup winners

The members of the 2004 Tampa Bay Lightning that lifted the Stanley Cup on the ice on June 7, 2004 will long be cherished by the fans. That playoff run was memorable and filled with exciting moments, especially during the Cup Finals. Who will ever forget Vincent Lecavalier’s scrap with Jarome Iginla? Or Martin St. Louis2nd overtime winner in game six? Or the crazy last minute of game seven with Dave Andreychuk taking a tripping penalty with 22 seconds left and watching his first Stanley Cup victory from the penalty box?

Now, Vincent Lecavalier has announced he intends to retire after he conclusion of the 2015-16 season. Martin St. Louis retired last summer. Dan Boyle seems to be on the verge of retirement as well. So someone asked on Twitter if there was anyone from that Stanley Cup winner still active. So here’s your update on that team and where they’re at and if they’ve retired the last team played. All information comes from EliteProspects.com. I’ve included only the 21 players that had their name etched on to the Stanley Cup.
